rec's on instructional vid/CD/software

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I'm looking for any and all recommendations on instructional stuff.. books, video, CDs, or software.

I would ultimately like to get my hands on some lessons (not sure if I can in my immediate (rural) area)... but I do have a music background, with over 10 years as a percussionist (formally trained), 12 years of guitar (partially trained), and a sprinkling of bass guitar in the past.

So now I'm looking for something that will aid instruction that is SOLID and easy to follow.

Any recs?
Thanks

Dan

Dan the Manimal -

Mark Levine - 'The Jazz Theory Book'

Jaco Pastorius - 'Modern Electric Bass' (VHS)

I would recommend getting some lessons as well though...
