Rhythm articles

Does anyone know of good articles on rhythm, like the chords/scales one that Jazzbo wrote? Bass Player had an article about the clave a few months back, that's the kind of thing I'm interested in. I know the basics of time signatures and stuff, but I'm wanting to learn more about each individual meter, the different feels they give, timings used in different types of music, things like that.

You might find Ed Friedland's "Bass Grooves" book helpful. I haven't seen it but I believe it is a collection of articles from Bass Player about grooves and rhythm.
