rock and roll all night request....

Sign in to disble this ad
I am having trouble with this song....

any advice?

I have tried playing along to the root of each chord, to keep the song together

then I am going to add the descending scale

any tips? trying to break it up in parts....

oh, and can I just use this thread to note my progress?

and my findings and "tricks of my own" to tackle this song?

oh, and brown eyed girl gives me trouble as well...

I am going to break up the parts and throw it into the metronome

thoughts, advice, help>?

thanks

just remember root, b7, 6, 5...that will get you through pretty much the whole song.

I'll post a video of me doing it correctly shortly. It tool me a lil while
but I finally figured out how to play it the way Gene does live. It's a fun lil tune. It's a lil tricky tho if you've never played it before because during the verse, he staccatos an open Ab and then plays a run of notes, but i doesnt directly follow the chord progression, and my theory is shoddy, so I'll
post a video thingy in a lil while.

search the karaoke stuff on youtube.....
