Here's my question:

Personally I am planning on going for my Grade 2 Rudiments and possibly Grade 3 Harmony this summer.

I have completed 4 years of RCM-based theory in high school and am currently majoring in music at York University, where my theory professor is an ARCT and former RCM faculty. Also working through preparatory texts:

"Elementary Rudiments of Music" (Barbara Wharram)
"The Basics of Harmony" (Grace Vandeldool)

Is this sufficient preparation? Should I maybe look into a private instructor?
