Same ol' situation (motley crue)

I've have to learn a motley crew song by saturday (8 songs total, 6 down) and I'm having some trouble.

I have the tabs pulled up as a general refference, but mostly playing learning by ear. I was running my laptop through my practice amp to bring out the basslines (just dropped it and broke the tip off the cable, no other damge though) and I can keep up pretty well but between the chorus and the veres/solo I can't hear the bass. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to stop and wait unitl the verse/solo starts or am I supposed to play something that I'm missing?

here's where I get lost. (about 1:05 minutes in and again at 2 minutes in)

"I say lord lord lord"

G/--------------------/
D/--------------------/
A/ --- 2-3-2-----2-3-2/
D/-----------0-0------/

Then I hear the guitar and nothing else.

The opening guitar figure repeats at that point (1:09). The bass hangs on a G, just like the start of the song. Use head phones. You will hear the bass clearly.
