I say learn to form them on your own using intervals. Here are a few to start you off:
Major scale: I, II, III, IV, VI, VI, VII (octave)
Minor scale:I, II, iii, IV, V, vi, vii, octave
Major arpeggio: I, III, V, VII, VIII
Minor arpeggio:I, iii, V, vii, viii
If that makes sense, slowly add on. If not, learn what they mean. PM me if you need help.
I've been playing guitar since September 09, bass since last July. I barely read, but learning how scales are made has helped me in many ways. Chords too
