Try doing this while you are playing together as a band. Sometimes a great solo sound won't work when the whole band is playing together. You need to find out how you'd best fit into a sonic jigsaw puzzle.

Do you have a straight pin, like a tailor would use?
Simply stick the pin through your guitarist's instrument cable when he's not looking.
Problem solved!

And he uses a boss ds-1, keeps the tone knob straight, dist on full, very nice, and i just have a bass sound that goes boom, we sound cool. |

Hey Polly, Do you really think the sound od the bass on Mudvaynes record has a lot of "high clacks" like Korn?????
Or you havenīt listened to mudvayne or you have some kind of ear dissorder
Thereīs no way you can compare the sound (and the playing skills) of Ryan and Fieldy (Fieldy doesnīt have)
I recomend you to get a good pair of headphones and put that record (LD50 of course) very loud, that bass sound its totally diferent to Fieldys, no "high clacks" but a lot of midrange, and I think its the best sound of a bass in all these "nu-metal" bands.
I donīt want to be rude or something, just giving my opinion

Do you have an E.Q. on your amp?
