short term bass schools?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, I opted out of pursuing music education as a major. I went to business school instead. I graduate with my bachelors this december. I would like to find a 1-3 week program to attend in order to further my playing career and steer me in the right direction for my future practice. I am all about furthering my understanding of theory, sight singing, and sight reading.

What are some schools besides the players school that offer short term, intensive programs?

I have looked into the players school and that is an option for me, but I would like to check out other options, IF they even exist.

Thanks.

a recent thread focusing on electric bass-oriented music schools included some schools that offer short-term programs. Sorry, don't have the URL handy.

Several of the good short-term programs are held during the summer, like the Jamey Aebersold summer jazz workshops - http://www.summerjazzworkshops.com/
