G:-----------------4--5--7----------------------------
A:---------3--5--7------------------------------------
E:--3--5--7-------------------------------------------
So, if someone could post the 7 form and the minor form, that'd be awesome. Thanks. |
The minor scale flattens the third of the scale. The example scale you've given is the G scale, the third is B, so play Bb instead of B:
G:------------------------
3--5--7------------9--11--12
D:----------------4--5--7-----------------------------
A:---------3--5--7------------------------------------
E:--3--5--
6-------------------------------------------
The 7 of the scale flattens the 7th tone. In this case the 7th is F#, so play F instead:
G:------------------------4--5--7------------9--
10--12
D:----------------
3--5--7-----------------------------
A:---------3--5--7------------------------------------
E:--3--5--7-------------------------------------------
You can combine these to get a minor seventh scale:
G:------------------------
3--5--7------------9--
10--12
D:----------------
3--5--7-----------------------------
A:---------3--5--7------------------------------------
E:--3--5--
6-------------------------------------------
Hope this helps.
