I have Ed Friedlands 'Slap Bass' dvd and after watching it over and over again (i had it since 2004) i always seem to get thoroughly tied up in knots & twisted up like a pretzel trying to remember all the steps.

This guy here seems to have 'scienced it down' to a little mathmetical equation, that even *i* can understand, lol.




And yes, i've seen bits of the Alex Slavenski slap clip on youtube.

That was a neat video. Good tool for those new to slapping or wanting to brush up.

Cuz, if not, i was gonna suggest that we trash our basses and get rubiks cubes to figga' out since we evidently have no natural rhythmn any dag gone way.
