Try 'Standing on Shakey Ground'- The Temptations- Pretty easy "E" based slap verses IIRC

My old bass teacher has an first edition of that. Its a really groovy book.

my name is mudd is one of my favorite bass lines becuase it shows how extremely percussive slapping can be

but uh, if your new at slapping i'd highly recommend not this...

I really dig Funk Bass by John Liebman. It covers a wide range of skill levels and has TONS of grooves, and accompanying audio tracks.
