Slap/Funk DVD Instruction

I'm looking at 2 different DVD's for learning Slap style and wondering if anyone is familiar with these:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pr_product_top

http://www.amazon.com/Slap-Bass-Prog...d_bxgy_d_img_c

I also have this one at home right now from Netflix:

http://www.amazon.com/Freekbass-Lear...7190245&sr=1-4

It's pretty good, but I'd like to get another from a different teacher just for variety.

The first two get pretty good reviews on Amazon and are reasonably priced.
A DVD thing at home is a good situation for me, right now.
I will get some supplemental lessons down the road, for sure.
Let me know if you have used either of these.
Thanks.

I can't speak to the second one, but Alexis is a certified bad@ass. Great groove and insane slap technique. He's also a great teacher. I can strongly recommend his vid.
Production, hair, vibe, etc. is very much late 80's, but the material and exposition thereof - totally first rate.

Big +1 to this. It's a really well thought-out instructional program that focuses on laying a solid foundation of groove and time before getting to the flashy stuff. For the price, there's a ton of great information in there.
