Slaping with thumb on all 4 strings is this right??

I love playing slap bass but i have formed a habit that when i play i will not pull off on the G and D strings but will slap them with my thumb. I find i can go faster and pull of cool harmonic taps with my thumb when i do it. Is this a bad habit im getting into that will work out bad for me in the long run??

I think slapping on the E or A strings is a pretty bad habit to get into also.

As long as it sounds cool, and you are able to mute the strings you want to, and slap the strings you want - I se no
problems.
You should however practice traditional slap and pop as well,
IMHO

For example, go and check out some Marcus Miller vids on YouTube. He thumps the D and G all the time.
