how do i become better at playing by ear??

the more you listen to music and play music and you can do ear training but i find the best way is to just wait it out cause your ear will just get better

pick some songs you like and learn how to play them by just listening to them. it's not hard, it just takes a lot of time.

Learn how to listen to music properly. Learn all the notes, all the intervals, learn some scales, learn to read sheet music, etc.
