I've been playing my bass for only a few months now, but beforehand I'd been playing guitar for a little over a year.

And, I swear, playing my bass has made it seem considerably easier to play guitar. Which I assume good do with the fact that as a guitar player, when I first picked up my bass I played it almost identically to how i'd play a guitar but with more distance between frets and thicker strings.

So is there any truth truth to what I think I've experienced, or is it all in my head?

If you felt that your playing has became easier than it really had. I mean, what you`ve expected us to say? "No man, you haven`t improved at all?" I think, you hands got used to thick strings, big distance between frets, long scale neck and this became more agile overall. That` it

Yeah , that happened to me too . The muscles are forced to develop better.....It's like the Daft Punk song

Harder , Better , Faster , Stronger

but yeah , I play guitar now , and usually for solo'ing I'm able to comfortably play over a 5-6 fret strech .

Yes... that's exactly what I expected yall to say.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. Now if I can just find something to play with frets even further apart and thicker strings than a bass...

(Whatever god you believe in knows someone is about to link something)
