I'm interested in trying to improve my rhythm notation reading abilities.

Are there any good webs sites or software packages for drilling your reading, with emphasis on rhythm and rhythmic phrases?

I'm not sure how this could be done with a software program, you'd basically need a midi interface for your bass that would compare what you were playing to the score. I've used software like auralia or practica musica where it will play a rhythmic phrase and you have to notate it correctly, but the other way around is not so easy...

I'd recommend getting a metronome and a book with some challenging rhythms. If you're up to it check out Anthony Vitti's Sight Reading Funk Rhythms for Bass.

I know this has been posted before but I think this one has several reading exercises using Flash that are helpful.
