Some small violin pieces for bass

Rahmaninov Polka Italienne:
Transposed from G-minor/G-major to A-minor/A-major:
Link

All the notes that are not staccato should be played as legato as possible (originally they had slurs, but I couldn't get the notation program to do slurs over more than two notes so I left them out). You can figure out your own variation of hammer-ons and pull-offs for those.

Kreutzer Etude No.2

Kreutzer Etude No.3

You can play it without the ties (as shown in the first bar) or with them, they are doable in most places.

Thanks for the transcription. This would sound good on arco contrabass as well.

Thanks for posting this. I have been needing something to practice lately and this will do nicely.

puff father, if you want more, here's a violin etude I posted earlier, but the thread seems to have disappeared.

Kreutzer etude no.2

Lots of nice arpeggio shapes

Here's a video of the Rahmaninov Polka piece being performed on the piano. LINK
I got the violin version from an etude collection of my violin teachers, the actual name of the piece appears to be Polka Italienne.

I added Kreutzer Etude no.3, link in the first post. It requires at least 21 frets if you're playing a 4 string.
