SOS!!!!

hey every one,i need ur help

i've playing bass guitar for about 2 years and i did pretty ok
but it's about one month or so,i was just so busy with other stuff n i couldnt practice enough.The problem is that now i just feel like i cant play anything,it's not about technique or such things,its just like when i pick up my bass to play sth myself,it gets blocked!

ive gone through this before and i usu. started hard work and covered different songs and i could get over it
this time it seems like they just don work,ive been listening a lot,covering,reading musical stuff,playing scales or bach...im just getting mad!

plz give me some suggestions what to do

Play with others. I can't play creative stuff solo either, only practice scales and theory. The creative stuff i do in a band, bass is at it's best in a full band or at least a drummer anyways (IMO).
Drum computers are also a good way to get creative.

Listen to music that you don't normally listen to as this will open you up to new ideas.
Get an instructor
Get a drum machine
Purchase method books and instructional videos.
Work on your grammar so that your posts are easier to read.

Just work thru it bro. Your gonna hit plateaus every once in a while.
Try and set up a consistent practice program for yourself and stick to it everyday.

Thanx hbarcat - now that song is gonna be in my head all day! Time to set the iPod to Rockpile!

hey,progress!i just had the drum machine and started playing with that.now it feels better

I think my prob is that i wanna play sth special,sth very good and this thought stops me from playing
i read somewhere KISS=keep it simple stupid! i don agree with that
anyway for now im gonna listen to some classic music!
but i have a strict plan for 2mo,hope it worx
