I read treble clef music for 5 years, when I played alto saxophone in a band setting. 2 years later I can't read nothin'.
Which proves the point, in order to read music you have to practice everyday and keep reading and reading.
I could tell you that the lines are E- every G- good B- boy D- does F- Fine and the spaces are F- A- C- E. Sure you'd be able to pick out each note slowly, but whether you get fast is all about reading as much as you can and how much time you put into it. Learning the timing of notes is important to, like how long a quarter, or sixteenth, or dotted half.. etc.
A TBer from here put up some standard notation music on his personal site. Most of it's funk-ish music, but still good to learn.
