Web site : Online Bass Lessons at StudyBass.com

Book : Bass Method: Book 1 Ed Friedland | eBay

There are three volumes of the book. The link shows only volume one. It is possible to get all three volumes in one spiral bound edition, which I would advise. All three volumes come with their own cd.

BTW the web site is one of the best there is IMO.

Good luck.

Yes to both of those sites/books.

I found the book, Bass Guitar for Dummies, to have value. The visual aids, fretboard patterns, etc. are excellent. Your public library may have a copy. http://books.google.com/books/about/...d=JBCZZyGIFH0C

Good luck.
