Taking the Lemon Challenge!

Wondering what im talking about ?

I have decided I need to push myself a bit and learn something hard that will take me awhile to master. And what I have chosen is "The Lemon Song" by Led Zepplin .

I was just wondering how many of you guys have learned this song and how long it took you to learn and if there is any tips or ways I should approach this song.

I'd say Section by section,
many, many, many years ago I learnt the bass solo section (5X12 bars) first,
12 bars at the time...
Afterward, I learned the beginning, then the end section,.
It did take a while...maybe two weeks for the solo section,
then probably another week for the rest.
