I'm Country and use a lot of chromatic runs to the next chord. Your select the target - then go up or back 4 frets and walk to it, is a lot easier than some of the runs I've been using. No need to make this more complicated than it really is.

'Piece a cake'! A lot of this stuff is simple, its the application that's a bit tougher. Stick with it and you'll nail it!
