This is where number begin to get a little fuzzy. I can't even begin to think about modulations every 2 measures.

Hey, I dig your fingerboard illustrations. They're a great tool! I use them to help me with improvisation.

They will all sound the same as chords but as scale to blow off it will be a different ball game.
A Cmin7 will always sound like a Cmin7 no matter what is it function.
The scale to use on it will depend on it function though.
