That Tone In My Head

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi All.

Hope your all well in which ever part of the world you are.

I'm having a problem trying to find my tone that I can eq for wherever I am gigging. I'm try to get a mix between Mic Todd (from Coheed and Cambria) and Colin Edwin (from Porcupine Tree).

My current set up is: Fender fretless jazz bass, Epi Tbird, Hartke HA3500 and a VX410. I'm not entirely enamoured with the Hartke but it does the job until I can upgrade a bit.

So I'm purely looking for advice in how to get the sounds out of my head into a more physical format that is gig worthy and won't get me lost in the mix. I've check out the above bassist's rigs but that's not really helping.

Regards

Andy

You'll probably get more responses if you try the gear forums.
