Track Builder thingy on ActiveBass.com?
I want to find out how the software chooses the notes when you're using the jazz format and set the automatic bass accompaniment to 100%...
I.e. given chord x for a bar, is the automatic bass line simply an arpeggio of that chord, or stepwise through the scale? Is it just randomly choosing notes from the arpeggio? Does it try to ascend for chord #1 then descend for chord #2? Does the next chord in the sequence affect the way the previous chord is played (e.g. different notes leading into next bar)? Does it have a collection of 4 note progressions for any particular chord type it uses over and over?
And so on. Note this is nothing to do with me adding my OWN bass line. I've put this same question of the AB forum but not had a relevant response yet (due to me not being clear).
