Órale,
Looking to see what you think. For the folk's that have one of these unit's, I need a device with a metronome, easy to use, great effect's and slow down function's, which do you use and what have you heard?

px4d is a great choice for training. Probably an easy find on bay.

I use the Tascam MP-BT1. You transfer songs as mp3 files to the unit. I once had the CD version you ask about, I find the mp3 files much easier to work with.

I've given up on the hardware trainers and have been using "The Amazing Slow Downer" which is a software application. It hands down beats anything else out there IMHO.
Slowdown anything to a crawl, looping, EQ and you can directly access Itunes, mp3's, CD's and pretty much anything right on your computer.

They even have an app for Ipod Touch or IPhone now as well.

Check it out at: http://www.ronimusic.com/

Verry cool!

All the best!
