In a C major scale, the traids built from the scale are

I,ii,iii,IV,V,vi,vii*

But how would this change if it was C minor and how do you get it ( I want to know So i can apply this to other scales as well)?

Do you follow the same "snow man" procedure?

Same thing build your snowmen and figure out the types of triads.

Also using those same triads you made for C major, you have also created the triads for A minor. A minor is the relative minor of C major. You get two for price of one.

In the natural minor scale the triads would be

i, ii*, III, iv, v, VI, VII - (I assume the * denotes diminished)

do you see a pattern between the order of the major and natural minor scale triads? I believe this is what DocBop is pointing out to you

Yes I do see the pattern. So that repeats for all of the scales.

Alright cool, I understand it now! Thanks!
