I want to try this out and see how it goes, how should I tune it, I know to tune them in 5ths, but what should I tune the E string too and so on? Thanks a lot. Nate M

Do this:

C (110-125 gauge)
G (90-95 gauge)
D (80 gauge)
A (35-40 gauge)

It's pretty cool.

i tried this with my warwick thumb once...it's really cool. it allows you to play some pretty large intervals without all the stretch...i would go for a .060 guage string with the d, though...i think that's what you meant

I used to tune my guitar in New Standard Tuning, CGDAEG (I'm a big King Crimson fan). Hearing some of those chords is the coolest thing ever--the voicings are so beautifully wide...
