UK music schools (ACM, bass insitute) etc

Hello
Does anyone here attend any of the music colleges such as the ACM or ICMP in the uk?(is there one called the Bass institute too?) Could anyone tell me what are the others called and where are they? it would be a dream come to true to study bass playing and music 24/7!

Is it worth going to these colleges?

Hey Matt,

I studied the one year bass diploma at the ICMP in Kilburn, it was a great course, but you'll only get out of it what you put in. I made the mistake of thinking I could get a small part time job and study at the same time, to make the most out of it you really have to devote all your time to practicing. There's a lot of theory to take in and a lot of songs to learn.

You should give the ICMP a call (speak to james) they'll answer any questions for you, also feel free to PM with more specific questions.
