Just picked up the new Palmystery CD and it's amazing. The second track "Cambo" what's the time signature? Am I right in counting 6/8 + 6/8 + 2/4 or am I completely off?

sounds right to me. I'm just counting quarters - 10/4, 3+3+2. Of course it could be 6/8 but it's going by so fast it's hard to tell

When I talked to Anthony Wellington at a vic gig 2 weeks ago, he said it was in "3 and 4 at the same time".

I know that the first cut, 2 Timers, is in both 3/4 and 4/4....Derico plays the 3, JD plays the 4.....

OH yeah.....Cambo is actually in 4/4, but it can also be felt in 3/8 plus 5/8.

Aloha, Garey
