Which Victa DVD are you talking about? He talks about slap on every DVD he does, more some than others.

Ahh. I did not know that. Im looking for a real good DVD for slap. I doesn't have to be Victor. I just want to learn how to slap. Would I be better off with a teacher?

I would say check out a couple things. Ed Friedland has a DVD, Slap Bass The Ultimate Guide that is a pretty good intro and only $20. Also Music Dojo the online bass school has Slap Bass classes that are a good intro. It is taught by Ant Wellington who is Victor Wooten's bass tech and also plays in Victor's band. The class is a combo of video and written material with practice drum loop.
