I would say that other than what you have already mentioned, I think it sounds real good.

Best of luck!

When you start to solo you cannot let the time fall apart. It doesn't matter what notes you play but when the time is crap the solo is crap. First example sounds pretty good until 1:25 and then the solo begins and the time ends.

You ask for criticism, you're going to get criticism. Learn to deal with it my friend; it will help you in the long run.

Like onlyclave said, you don't want to lose time when you solo. That's...not a good thing. Work on entering and leaving solos in time, and obviously work on soloing in a minor key. You don't want to have limitations in an exam.

What is this exam-thing for, if you don't mind me asking?

Oh sorry I didnt realise how that sounded. I ment not helpful that they gave me that music when ive never solo'ed before especially in a minor key - which they tell me is harder. Hes advice was very helpful.

Its for a school exam. You have to play, record, compose and do a it of theoryy, but since im better at playing than the rest im hoping to get a good mark to booast my grade.

Why would soloing in a minor key be harder then a major key? =/

Apart from a change in fingering neither one is harder, infact harder is the wrong word to use. You can be unfamiliar with how to solo in general but same principles happen with any tonality you have to solo in so an idea can be new to you but that doesn't make it hard.
