Question What format of learning material do you want?

1) Books - hard copy, the original analog technology. You want to feel it, hold it, touch it, spill coffee on it.

2) E-books - What is this, the year 1648? Paper? Give me something to read on my ipad, iphone, kindle, nook, something that goes on the magic talking computer box that is always in my pocket.

3) DVD video - I want to watch it on the Tee Vee.

4) Internet video - I want to watch it on the computer box. Or a phone. Don't care where, the more places the better.

I use all of the above. I do prefer paperless when available.

i prefer hard copy, though not necessarily books. i'll print an article from a website, e-zine, blog (such as yours), etc. this way i can scribble notes on it, or only carry a sheet or 2 with me instead of an entire book.

i use online videos a lot, as well (i.e., devine, marlowedk)

Good point.

I should say "in the absence of being able to have a one-on-one lesson" what is your preferred learning format.
