What's wrong with it ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, (i hope i'm in the right place.)

Some guys say that there's something wrong with the slap part of this but they can't tell me what. I don't think there's something wrong but... i'm not sure.
To help you i' can tell you that i start playing on 7. The slap part turns on 3 mesures.

May be it comes that the rythm is in 4/4 and the bassline is divised in 2 parts of 6 beats than the second part starts on the 3rd beat of the mesure instead of the first one ?

Thanks. Lio

The slapping is done correctly but its completely off beat. Practice the timing and rhythm.

Ok, thanks (we just talk about the slap part not the second line)

So in the slap part :
when you say "off beat" does it mean that the same notes don't always come at the same place or doe it mean that the notes are at the same place but that this place is wrong ?

I feel that i always play the same line with the same notes at the same place. Is it always "off beat" ?

Sorry about the french for those who dont speak it, it was easier to explain to him this way

Ok, (sorry for the french, i will sumerize when i understand everything )
