I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones I got on special for like 90 bucks..run my bass thru a small PA head and a headphone amp to practice with tutorials or mp3's that run off a computer. The phones sound great. I have tried my $40 ear buds thru the same set up with decent results also. The family loves them too!

It took some time to get together the gear. $$$ well spent IMO!

Peace...

Which model of theirs do you use? I see they have several available.

It depends really. For me is it at any point between 7:00 to 9:00, and I'll normally go for about 1.5 hours

Same here. Mornings drain my energy, but I feel revitalized during the afternoon, my best time to practice.

And for the record, I envy the people here who can actually practice daily. I wish I did but I don't work that way. I put a good 3-5 times a week practice, though, not including my music classes and group practice on weekends.

I'm the same way. Although band practice is in the evening, I'm more creative in the morning and have written the majority of my songs after some coffee and a good deuce
