No, not legally, but www.studybass.com is free and very good.

There is a place where you can get books for free.

It's called a Library. I wanted to check out John Goldsby's THE JAZZ BASS BOOK so I reserved it from my local library - they got it within ten days and the book is so good I've ordered it.

It's a great try before you buy system! AND 100 PER CENT LEGAL!

I got a better idea. How about helping support good bass teachers, many of whom hang out here, and just buy one?
