Where can I learn how to read music?

Hey, do you guys know anywhere on the internet I can learn to read music for free?

No Problem. I really think you're better off spending some money and getting a book or 2. I have all of my students start with "Mel Bay's Electric Bass Guitar Method Level 1". This book will at least teach you to read music as it relates to the Bass guitar. I think it's $6.99.

Don't forget libraries may have a book or two on reading music you can borrow.

I ordered a book a few weeks ago titled "Basic Music Theory: How to read, write, and understand written music" by Jonathan Harnum. Excellent book. And, it is fun to read. Look it up on Amazon. Its worth every penny.

i still highly recommend my book. im serious. it makes it all so easy.
