While not exactly "bass lessons", his videos cover all kinds tunes from Jamereson, T.v., movies and a whole lot more. He's also an excellent keyboard player and does some jazz videos as well. |

While I love MarloweDK and everything he has to offer, I think Scott is a better teacher and an equally tasty, albeit, different kind of player. His lessons have helped me more than anyone else's. Including Marlowe's. The guy just knows how to teach.

Of course I appreciate all the great bass content on youtube, Scott's free lessons are fantastic. I also just purchased one of his play along lessons for $17 and the video/backing tracks are top notch. Very nice movement through the lesson, lots of information to keep my busy on this one lesson for some time (II-V-I lesson).
Well worth the time/investment.

I've been noodling around as a beginner on the bass for about a year and just recently decided it was time to get serious and to start learning theory and the meaning of what I've actually been playing. Scott's lessons have been fantastic. He has a great teaching personality and is very effective at delivering his lessons. Very recommended. |

| | | I like this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKAHDALZKhg
Found him after about an year and a half into my playing,now i've been playing for 20 Months i guess and my playing became exponentially better since then,but i also started studying theory,listening to jazz and blues and playing with people.. buuut.. i'd say some of his lessons were pretty helpful |

| | | | Overall for the organization and content and articulation easily Scott Devine;
But there would be no scott if it wasnt for M DK....
The only thing I dont like is people teaching "licks" its much better to teach concepts and why licks work they just straight up "licks"

His teaching technique is very absorbable. I've been playing for 30 years and I've finally caught on to a few concepts that have eluded me by simply watching a few of his videos.
Can't recommend him enough!
