To the TOP! Who wants it?!
Me! I was next on the list... Let's try this again...

On second thought, if Jon's making it available online, maybe I don't need it after all. Who wants a package from 2002 that smells funny?

Hey Jon, had to delay for a bit due to a number of holiday related issues, but it's going out tomorrow via USPS along with a number of books I've sold. Sorry for the delay!

Question

Is this video presented by a guy who wears a purple t-shirt, with some sort of red curtain in the background, and the amp visible at the right of the screen?

EDIT

Just found the sample video posted to pages back. To all of you impatient listeners, the guy has a bunch of pretty short samples posted on YouTube.

"funk bass 1" is almost a blasphemy.

I'm puzzled why he posted all these 4-6 second clips??? Probably thought he could hide his weakness that way...too bad it still shines through. Tell me what would make anyone post this version of Teen Town?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1rjLfqnPB0
He must be deaf, blind or both...

bump - this guy is still hawking his crap on youtube, and it's still hilarious.

(Bump inspired by the "bad bass teacher" thread in Technique)

I don't get it, even if he took his ability too seriously when he started, after 10 years of aggressively doing this you would think he'd figure out a way to put something decent together to sell.

I was the first view.

You'd think after 10 years, he'd know the melodic minor has a raised 7th degree too.

sheesh!

I think the better part is that after a full decade, he still has a room lined with velvet.

I just checked out the Teen Town video. Is he for real trying to sell lessons with that?

That is funny! He'd fit right into a Guitar Center on a Saturday.

Even more disturbing than the horrible playing is this guys online persona. Look at the comments from studioworkstv on other videos. I can't even post them here.

I just got the dvd by John Patitucc and know I will get banned for this one but....how useless...a few minutes of spider exercises and the rest of him playing with his drummer, you want to learn not watch him play for 50 minutes...well IMO that is! Crap dvd, use youtube and find a few of his lessons instead of wasting your money! A guy on TB posted some of Johns exercises from the dvd, come to find out those 4-5 exercises were all that was on the dvd!
