Chris, nobody else has spoken for it, so after Gabu gets it and then sends it to me, you can be next.

Yes, I did. Against my better judgement....

So, who has it, and when do I get it? I did ask for it on the 14th of August, after all. Is it Gabu, Embellisher, Chris, me, then Gard, or what?

bassmonkee, looks like you asked before I did.

Gard, Chris A, when did you guys ask? I don't want to get ahead of anyone.

Honestly, I'd forgotten about this video. So, I don't need to go next, I just want to make sure I get back in line at some point. You're more than welcome to take it before me. This kinda reminds me of being at a party: "Dude, this is disgusting--taste it!"

So, does Gabu, Embellisher, Chris, me, then Gard sound good to all involved?

Just FYI, I think Cafe Purgatory has it, and he may be tied up right now. Seeing as he's an infantryman.

edit: I can't believe I wrote 'a' infantryman. I is a GI

Oh, I didn't realise he was a serviceman! Now I see why he didn't respond to my pm. Well the scrotum school of bass playing is currently on hold.

I reckon you'd be master of that particular school of bass playing , Gabu?

No, actually, I prefer to use the ever so effective
c*ck-n-b*lls approach to bass playing!

Ladies and gentlemen. I apologize for the delay in my response here, and you are right, Pacman, I have been rather busy with work lately. I'll drop that puppy into the bottomless hell hole that is the US Postal Service in the morning when I go to work.

Once again, sorry all for inadvertantly putting you on hold.

Much better than CATS, I'm going to see it again and again

Well, Gabu, the video is on it's way. Should be to you within a few days. Now I'm off to get to work on the Carol Kaye vids I just got. Later.

That is the sound of something that stinks less than this video.

I just re-read the whole thread to see if anyone else mentioned this, and it does not seem so. It seems that the audio lags after the video. This being the case, and added to no fret markers... there is absolutely no way to know where he is playing.

Did anyone else notice the lag??

If not, then I wonder if on top of the poor playing, poor teaching, poor editing ... and more ... This video itself may be falling apart.

Damn. All I can say is Damn.

As a beginning player I was actually curious if I would still be able to pick up some tips from this flic... even if basic ones. The only thing I got out of it was the desire to clean my vcr with alcohol and send this pos to the next poor sob on the list.

Who next on the list?

I am sorry, but you get it now.

Put me on the list too. I'm a sucker for crappy entertainment.

Wait a minute, I'm not.

Send the tape anyway.
