Is this worth doing?

I stumbled across this-

http://www.musicianuniversity.com/co...ed_bass_1.html

I have a little over a year left before I leave for real music school, so I want to try to soak up as much as I can before going there.

Has anyone ever used this website or one like it, and was it worth it? It's only 30 bucks, so I don't imagine it'll be a huge blow if it's not that great. Let me know

Thanks!

One lesson with a real professional is worth 100 dvd's and online courses.

I've had hour lessons that changed my playing forever...

I completely agree with chicagodoubler on this matter. In my opinion when you read things, it can be interpreted however you wish, so you may in turn interpret it wrong, just regressing your technique rather than progressing. The only sort of training book I'd recommend is a book of sheet music and accompanying CD with which you can just practice and improve your sight reading, which I'm assuming you'll need where you're going.
