Hey everybody,

I was just wondering if anyone had links to some helpful YouTube clips. Maybe we could make a list of them and turn it into a good
practise tool.

I'm talking more about some advanced ideas. Victor wootens korg metronome video is a good example.

Maybe YouTube isn't the spot for that kinda stuff

This is my series on soloing. If all of the stuff I cover in these videos is elementary to you, chances are you won't be seeking a primary source of education on youtube. Meaning, there is a lot of stuff covered in these videos, and I assume a pretty solid foundation in theory.

Most of youtube lessons aren't very enlightening, but there definitely are some pretty interesting approaches/lessons out there for all levels. The victor wooten video on metronomes definitely is one of them, but there are others.

Thanks man, I do actually, I have a couple of videos on chords on bass. They're a little unrefined, but you might glean something from them. The second one (fourth voicings) definitely requires a solid understanding in theory and practice within the idiom (jazz)

Thanks so much again. I have started playing bass in June and I love it, I spend mostly all of my time playing and practicing and learning some theory. I know most of your stuff is advance for me, I still attempt to understand it and I learn a little by little. I see that you are in the jazz band in college. I will be going to Millersville University in 2 days and I was wondering what you suggest learning or do you have any advice if I wanted to join the jazz band in the future? Thanks a lot.
