Can You List on Ebay And TB Concurrently

I have been searching the Bass Guitar classified rules trying to determine if I can list a bass on TB and Ebay (as a buy it now... not an auction)at the same time. I have not been able to find a rule prohibiting this.

I think the Double Bass classifieds prohibits this but I am not sure about Electric bass forums.

Can somebody lend some insight?

Thanks

I believe you can, but posting a link to an eBay sale is prohibited.

Taken directly from the rules:

No Ebay or other auctions. Threads started with the intent to advertise an auction will be deleted. Links to auctions will only be allowed if posted as a reply to an existing (at least one week old) thread originally advertising the direct sale of the same item.

Thank you for your replies. I take that to mean you cannot advertise you ebay listings on tb.

Well, it says you CAN, but only after the item for sale has been advertised here first for at least a week.

Exar's business is on hold for now. I will still help previous customers.

Thanks for the responses.
So the bottom line is you can list an electric bass in the bass guitar forums and also have it for sale on ebay (which is forbidden on db forums). You can then put a link as a reply in your original tb classified thread to the ebay auction after one week.

If I have any part of this wrong please advise so i don't break any rules.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I broke any rules. But about a year ago I had a bass for sale on TB and ebay. It sold on TB first, so I just jacked the price on my ebay listing to brand new price. That no one bought it, and if they did, I would just take their money and buy them a new one.

Thanks for the insight into how you conduct your business. Looks like you belong on my "blocked" list.
