newbie, "bump" policy?

Hi All, I've only sold on TB 3 or so times in many years of being a subscriber. I've never understood the "bumping" policy.. now that I have had an ad in the "for sale" section for over a week with no response.. How do I "relist it"?? how to "bump it back up to the top?

Thanks.

Just post a new post in the thread. You can do one yourself per day. Other readers may bump you for free anytime.

And to keep it from looking like you're desperate to sell, just do a bump then when you do another bump, delete the old bump and add a new one.

i believe it's in the rules that old bumps must be deleted, so this is good advice. i don't think this rule is really enforced, though. also, mods can see deleted posts, so i wouldn't go crazy with bumps, just because you can 'delete' the old ones.
