Wow, I feel really bad for all parties involved here. I've always been wary of buying a bass sight unseen and this thread just reinforces it. I hope the buyer and seller in this deal are patient with one another and the bass is received in good order. Hang in there guys. I'm sure it will work out well, ultimately.

Glad to hear it. I'm not tryin' it, though. TB, ebay, none of that stuff. I just can't bring myself to pay for a bass without seeing it and trying it out first. But that's me. I do have fun window shopping online though. It's a good way for me to get a good idea of street values.

I've bought a bout 50 basses sight unseen from everywhere, no horror stories yet.
If you order a custom you won't see it until it hits the front door.
