Arizona Bass Company introduces "Curcio Custom" Basses

O.K. folks for those of you who know me, know that I have been producing good, intermediate quality basses at budget bass prices for a while now. Well, recently I have been moving more toward mid-to-high end quality basses. I have a few I have built for myself, but here is the first "Curcio Custom" bass I am putting up for sale.

It is a 50's style "P" bass tribute (clone). this is one of my favorite looking P basses so I thought it would be a good one to start out with. It is serial #002. #001 is a 5 string Jazz bass I built for myself that I will keep. (for now anyway)

Here are the specs.

4 string 50's style P bass
Body - MIJ bass wood with Lake Placid Blue finish.

Neck Maple/Maple (Modern P profile) with black dots and Graphteck nut. 1 5/8" width.

Pickups - Tesla 60's P bass vintage wind (very cool vintage P bass vibe and tone)

Pick guard-Gold Anodized 50's P bass style

Electronics-USA Made CTS pots, switch craft Jack, .047 vintage "chicklet" style tone cap. Black aluminum control knobs and Dunlap Straplocks installed.

Hardware - American made "deluxe F" style tuners, and vintage style Fender Bridge. Hipshot 3 string retainer.

I will be selling basses in the "Curcio Custom" line starting at $600 for a 4 string/passive bass and will go up from there. Custom options are available. Just PM or e-mail me for a custom bass price quote.

Thanks for looking. Feel free to PM if you have an idea for your "dream" bass.

This one is no longer available. I decided to keep it for myself. ; )

Thanks.

Ooh, a Steve Harris bass on steroids! It looks really good. Bet it sounds even better than it looks. )
