FS - "New" Demo model "P/J" style bass
 

Hey there folks. Here is a great little P/J bass I just finished.

Here are the specs;

Wood - Alder
Finish - hand dyed, tobacco burst oil/wax hand applied finish
Neck - Maple/Maple oil/poly finish (gloss poly on headstock) Vintage Amber tint 1 5/8 nut width with hand cut graphtec black tusque nut. Vintage (thin) size frets.
Pickups - SD designed Jazz Alnico V pickups
Tone circuit - Passive (V/V) Tone delete. USA CTS 250K tone pots.
Hardware; Tuners - Hipshot reverse clover leaf, Bridge - Standard Fender style, Controle plate - P Bass chrome control plate (no pickguard) Control knobs - black aluminum "Sadowski" style and Chrome Dunlap Strap Locks.

Options - Choose Standard "P" bass Tort pick guard or Chrome control plate - no extra charge.
Add Aguilar 60's style pickups - $99
Currently strung with La Bella Flat wound strings. I'll swap for Circle K round wound strings at no extra charge.

This bass is very comfortable to play and only weighs 8.5 lbs.

For anyone interested, I can add a topcoat finish to this bass. I can do oil/poly or poly over the oil that is on it or even finish in polimerized tung oil. I can also spray high gloss poly or lacquer on the neck to get a miror finish.

Don't forget, I can also change out pickups to Aguilar, Nordstrand or ??.

I also have J bass necks with maple or rosewood fretboards as well.
