Trying to learn

Hello. I have a totally odd question. I have a cheaper Ibanez GSR200. Is it possible to swap the neck, pickups and bridge out to make it a 5 string instead of a 4. I know cost wise I would be better off just buying a 5 string but I enjoy doing things different from most people. Just didn't know if it was possible or if there would be major rework involved. Thanx for ur help.

in short . . . . .

no buy a 5 string. I know they used to have a fendor kit where you could do that but the string spacing is awful tight. Also you may have issues with your pickups since the magnets are in different locations. Do yourself a favor and if you want a 5 buy a five. You will save money, and a large migraine
