Well, I love to play my EB, but if you're playing jazz, it looks like something is missing. I did play some times with my electric and I was sooo dissapointed of myself, I sounded... don't know how to describe it. Oh, wait! the Walking jazz lines of my old jobs elevator functional music!

I know quite a few Jazz pros in the UK who are "doublers" on BG and DB and I have seen them play at my local Jazz club as well as other places many times over the last 10 years or so..?

But invariably - they will use the DB for swinging walking lines and more straight ahead Jazz or 'classical' tunes - then only pick up the BG for "groove - oriented" tunes - e.g. funky or latin numbers...?
