Search Brent Nussey's posts. He wrote some detail about it at one point I recall. |

Mine was a large tin can, sprayed with flat black paint and screwed to a wood base.
Ray did come up with the original idea. He sold the damn things! This was in the late 50s.
Another piece of **** to haul around.
Ray could sell anything to anybody....especially to ladies. My hero in more than one way.

Adam, there was a design that was lower profile, using foam wedges or something to hold the bow by the tip, and I would be afraid to use one, I think the chance of damaging the bow would be high. I've shortened the length of the tube in the pictures from where it was, but I don't think you'd want to go too short. It's a matter of finding a balance between stability/safety and portability.
